PESHAWAR: A victim of the Peshawar bomb blast and employee of Peshawar High Court succumbed to injuries here in the Hospital on Tuesday.
The deceased Nihad Ullah s/o Sardar Khan resident of Charsadda, who was Naib Qasid to Security Incharge Peshawar High Court Atlas Khan was seriously injured in a powerful bomb blast in the parking area of Peshawar High Court.
He was rushed to the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar for the initial treatment but he succumbed to injuries at about 5:00 pm in Intensive Care Unit.
Earlier, collective eight people were injured in the bomb explosion at the Parking Area of Peshawar High Court on Tuesday morning.
The NWFP Governor, Lt. Gen. Ali Muhammad Jan Aurakzai has strongly condemned the bomb blast which took place outside the premises of Peshawar High Court on Tuesday.
In his condolence message, the Governor has described it a dastardly act of terrorism. Such heinous crimes on the part of miscreants, he added, are aimed at to fulfil their nefarious designs by creating un-certainty and anarchy in the country, which the government would never allow to happen. He prayed for the early recovery of the injured and stated that perpetuators of the crime would be taken to task.
Meanwhile, NWFP Government and lawyers community held responsible Federal Government and Agencies for the bomb blast that occurred near Peshawar High Court.
While talking to host of journalists on Tuesday, Provincial Minister Information Asif Iqbal Daudzai said that he strongly condemns bomb blast occurred in the General Parking Area of Peshawar High Court on Tuesday morning in which eight people were injured.
Minister Asif Iqbal Daudzai told that this is the year of elections and some anti social elements are trying to malign the image of the country by creating a vacuum between masses and MMA.
He said that all out efforts will be made to foil such conspiracies that are disturbing law.
Former President District Bar Peshawar Fida Gull was of the view that we strongly condemned such blasts blaming Federal Government and Agencies adding that it is trying to sabotage Lawyers Movement thus creating a situation of emergency.
He said that such blasts would not put Lawyers on the back foot in their struggle for Independence of Judiciary.
Meanwhile stringent security measures have been taken in Charsadda Kutchery following the gruesome bomb blast in Peshawar High Court.
Police has been directed to be on a high alert to avoid any untoward incident while methodical checking will be done of vehicles entering the parking area.
Police high ups have urged masses to cooperate with the administration as all the measures are being taken to protect innocent lives.
